Terms of Payment
WVC courses fees must be paid in full at the time of online enrollment. Should you wish to pay by check, please make check payable to Western Veterinary Conference and mail check and registration form to P.O. Box 50755, Henderson, NV 89016. Credit cards will only be accepted at onsite registration, no cash or checks.
Cancelation by WVC
Western Veterinary Conference reserves the right to cancel courses at any time due to inadequate enrollment. Every effort will be made to notify registrants as early as possible of a course cancellation. A full refund of the course registration fee will be issued to the registrant in a timely manner. All fees and charges for travel and lodging arranged by the registrant are the sole responsibility of the registrant.
Cancelation by Registrant
Any person wishing to cancel their registration for a WVC course must make the request in writing by email, fax, or mail 30 days in advance of the course. A $35 processing fee will be applied. For your convenience, course registration is transferable to another qualified individual. A request for transfer of registration must be for the same course and must be completed by email, fax, or mail.
WVC may release your contact information to sponsoring companies. As an attendee, your image may be captured and used for future promotional purposes.

Dr. Etienne Cote
DVM, DACVIM (SAIM & CARDIOLOGY)Dr. Etienne Côté is a board certified veterinary cardiologist and small animal internist. He was born and raised in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and he currently resides in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada where he is a Professor in the Department of Companion Animals at the Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island. He obtained his DVM from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 1993 and completed residencies in Cardiology and Small Animal Internal Medicine at the California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles from 1996 to 1999. Dr. Côté is a Professor at the University of Prince Edward Island, where he has been recognized for his teaching effectiveness through several teaching awards and most recently through induction as a Canadian 3M National Teaching Fellow in 2015. He is author and editor-in-chief of three editions of the bestselling Clinical Veterinary Advisor textbook for small animal practice; co-author of the only textbook on heart diseases of cats, Feline Cardiology; co-editor of the new, 8th edition of the Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine with Drs. Stephen Ettinger and Edward Feldman; co-author of the Veterinary Drug Index, a drug formulary application for smartphones; creator of the Veterinary Medicine Clinical Skills Videos learning library; co-creator of Veterinary Board Games study tools; and author or co-author of 28 scientific articles and 78 textbook chapters. His 3 year-old daughter and 2 very large Newfoundland dogs keep him and his wife busy, and his hobbies include travel, languages, running, hiking, snowshoeing, and Shotokan karate.
